We use a Brother GT-341 Industrial DTG machine to print your artwork with CMYK inks straight to the shirt.

DTG offers a convenient solution for clients who aren't able to meet the 72-piece minimum required by traditional, high-color screen printing.
While not our premium service or recommended method for custom merchandise , DTG still serves as an excellent short-term option for high-color artwork on smaller runs of 12-36 pieces. With the right choice of shirt blanks, DTG can produce incredibly unique vintage looks, photo-realistic artwork, and novelty t-shirts.

Our Direct to Garment (DTG) printing service is specifically designed for use on light-colored fabrics, offering full-color and detailed designs on smaller batch orders. If your project involves darker colored fabrics and requires fewer than 72 pieces, consider exploring our Direct to Film (DTF) printing services as an alternative solution (See Below).
DTG printing requires a minimum order of 12 pieces per shirt style.

PRINT FULL-COLOR, PHOTO REALISTIC IMAGES ON T-SHIRTS
Our Direct to Garment (DTG) printing allows for the creation of full-color, photo-realistic images on T-shirts, functioning similarly to a traditional paper printer but on fabric. It uses eco-friendly, water-based CMYK inks, making it ideal for photo T-shirts, memorial shirts, and small runs. However, while it can reproduce a wide range of colors, DTG printing has limitations in vibrancy and cannot produce fluorescent colors or special effects.
DTG IS AN ECO-FRIENDLY T-SHIRT PRINTING PROCESS
Not only are these inks water-based and more eco-friendly than conventional screen printing inks, but this process also eliminates all other chemicals, materials, power & waste used in traditional t-shirt screen printing making it the most eco-friendly printing alternative.
Ideally, if you really want to customize your apparel with a true “ECO-FRIENDLY” solution, you may want to consider either DTG printing or 1 color water-based or recycled silkscreen printing.

DIRECT-TO-FILM (DTF)
DTF printing is setting the standard in the industry for producing custom T-shirts with high-color design in small quantities.
Its capacity to adhere to virtually any fabric makes it a more universally applicable method compared to screen or DTG printing.
DTF IS GREAT FOR FULL COLOR SMALL ORDERS
DTF printing is revolutionizing the short order T-shirt production industry by delivering high-quality, detailed, and brightly colored designs, in small quantities. Its versatility across various fabric types positions it as a superior choice to DTG printing for many applications. The standard turnaround for this service is 3-5 business days from the time of the artwork approval. This service is only available on our products.

Direct to garment printing is more cost-effective on smaller orders, especially if your design involves many colors. It is priced at a FLAT RATE, so the lack of setup and screen preparation is a saving that we pass on to our customers. However, DTG printing stops being more cost-effective around the 48 piece benchmark when the fees for setup / screens average lower than the DTG flat rate. DTG t-shirts range from $12 – $22 depending on style & print coverage.
Our DTG and screen printing are both of premium quality! The proper printing method depends on your artwork, details of the project, and desired end result. Don’t worry if you’re not very familiar with either printing method! Our associates take all details of your project into consideration to get you the perfect products.
Sometimes yes; the majority of the time, no! It really boils down to the artwork, product and details of your project, so please give us a call to discuss a project like this.
No, we DO NOT recommend DTG printing for your company uniforms. DTG is really great for gag gifts, birthday parties, full-color photographs and photo-realistic artwork, not an everyday work shirt.
We currently only offer our DTG services on white or light-colored shirts that are made of 100% cotton to achieve the highest quality print.
