Screen Printing, also known as Silk Screen or Silk Screen Printing, is the technique of using a stencil or "screen" to print inks directly to the surface of a garment (CLICK HERE). This method is the most cost effective way to reproduce the same image on multiple piece runs. Literally any flat object that can be put through our (350°) tunnel dryer can be screen printed.
Print pricing is based on the number of individual colors in the design, the amount of print locations the design will be printed and the quantity being printed. We have the capability to screen print up to 12 spot colors in a single design. For extremely colorful artwork exceeding 12 colors we use what is called a 4 color process. This method mixes 4 colors (CMYK) to create almost any color in the spectrum. For FULL COLOR designs in quantities less than 6 doz. DIRECT-TO-GARMENT PRINTING is sometimes a more cost effective solution. Screen Print pricing is based on the colors & artwork, so the more colors the artwork has, the more it will potentially cost.
Using these methods combined with a variety of ink colors and Garment Styles, we can achieve virtually any type of apparel you desire. Whether you are looking for durable screen printed T-Shirts for your STAFF UNIFORMS or soft hand vintage style tees for your CHURCH'S YOUTH GROUP, HITTN' SKINS has an innovative solution for you!
For the majority of our garment applications we have a 12 piece minimum. However, we have the capability to produce as large of a quantity as you may need! FYI: Buying in bulk can save you big bucks!! There are significant prices breaks when ordering a larger quantity, contact us for more information. On all Digital Printing orders, there is a $75 store minimum.
In order to produce screen printed t-shirts, each color in a design must go on its own screen or stencil. Hittn' Skins will hold your screens for up to 12 months so any reorders placed within that time you will not be charged another set up fee. The cost per screen is normally $25 per screen. We can sometimes wave the setup fees on larger orders depending on the job. See our Monthly Specials for special offers on set-up fees.
Sure, we have a 48 piece minimum if you are supplying your own garments. All supplied garments must be of the same material, or be able to be printed with the same method & ink types (i.e. colors, fabrics, print sizes). If you have specialty items that we cannot provide for you and can't quite meet the minimum, give us a call we are very easy to work with and we'll be able to find a solution for your needs!
Absolutely! In most cases we can turn an order around in a day or sometimes even same day, depending on our production schedule and size of the order.
